The 2023 Hyundai Sonata is a stylish and affordable midsize sedan. This most recent variant appeared in 2020, and the vehicle’s smooth styling stands out. Additionally, Hyundai offers a variety of models to suit virtually all requirements. The primary and roomy SE trim is at the bottom of the lineup, followed by the loaded-up N Line sport sedan, which is fun to drive. When you buy a Sonata, you also get easy-to-use technology features and Hyundai’s extended warranty, which gives you peace of mind. Five trim levels are available for the 2023 Sonata: Limited, N Line, SE, SEL Plus, and N Line.
The Hyundai Sonata adds a demeanor to the family-vehicle section that we trust is sufficient to aw the others. New headlights, taillights, updated front and rear bumpers, and significant interior changes make up its mid-cycle refresh. We wouldn’t be surprised if the Sonata kept its current powertrains, which include a base engine with 191 horsepower, a 180 horsepower turbocharged inline-four, and an N Line model with a 290 horsepower turbo four. In addition, Hyundai offers the Sonata Hybrid, which is the subject of a separate review.
Hyundai Sonata 2023 Car Review in Pakistan
Exterior
The Sonata looks like a car that costs more. It’s stylish and delivers in critical areas, like the excellent parking camera system, extended warranty coverage, and great-looking and simple-to-use infotainment system display. However, regarding ride quality and seat comfort, the Sonata matches what you would expect from a midsize sedan in other areas.
Powerful Engine
This car was launched in two engine options: Hyundai Sonata 2.0 and Hyundai Sonata 2.5. Hyundai Sonata 2.0 comes with a 2000cc natural aspirated engine with the highest power of 152/6200 Hp/Rpm at the most increased torque of 192/4500 Nm/Rpm. The Sonata trims will not come with turbo engines in 2023: SE with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder GDI engine and SEL with a 4-liter GDI engine.
Interior
Given the number of features in the interior, it is impressive that almost all of the controls are easy to understand. The most prominent flaw is still the push-button shifter. The layout can make a quick three-point, more complex cut, requiring extra attention to ensure you select the appropriate gear.
We want more driver’s seat change range, particularly at sea level. The interior is a good size, matching the larger vehicles in the segment and providing ample space for passengers of all sizes. However, even people of average height must slightly duck when entering and exiting.
Mileage
The Manual Petrol variant has a mileage of 1km. The Automatic Petrol variant has a mileage of 1km.
Maintenance
Hyundai’s warranty coverage is legendary to its massive powertrain warranty. The company also offers complimentary scheduled maintenance that bests mainstream rivals such as Toyota.

Owner’s Review
Although the Sonata appears refined, its interior comfort falls short of expectations. The seats are complex, and they don’t have the soft comfort or adjustment options of segment leaders. Additionally, the ride is firm. Although the Sonata is not particularly uncomfortable, it transmits impacts and bumps into the cabin in a way that other family sedans priced similarly would not. The inside is a touch more vital as well. Although some odd characteristics exist, the steering, handling, and braking are all straightforward. The overall firmness of the ride does not result in a useful handling balance. Furthermore, the brake pedal emanates a light, consistent application, similar to while you’re going down a delicate grade. There is not much to criticize, but there is also not much to praise.
